Cancellation Policy for Medical Clinic Appointments

At Dr H Consult, we strive to provide exceptional healthcare services to our patients. To ensure the smooth operation of our clinic and respect the time of both our medical practitioners and patients, we have established the following cancellation policy for appointments:

1. Appointment Booking:

  1. To secure an appointment for an initial consultation that costs £150, patients are required to make a deposit of £50 prior to the appointment.
  2. The deposit can be made using a secure payment link provided by our clinic.
  3. For online consultations, the full £150 consultation fee will be paid in advance.

2. Consultation Cancellation Policy:

  1. Once a deposit has been made and a consultation appointment is scheduled, the patient must cancel at least 72 hours before the appointment date to avoid losing the deposit.
  2. If the cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the scheduled consultation, the deposit will be forfeited.
  3. The patient takes full responsibility for informing themselves about the clinic’s services and policies before booking.

3. Procedure Appointment Booking and Cancellation:

  1. To secure a procedure appointment, patients must pay a deposit, which will be a fraction of the total cost of the procedure. This deposit is required to confirm the appointment slot.
  2. Procedures must be cancelled at least two weeks before the scheduled appointment date to avoid losing the deposit.
  3. If the patient reschedules the procedure to a later date and then cancels, the deposit will be forfeited regardless of the rescheduling.

4. Rescheduling:

  1. If a patient needs to reschedule either a consultation or procedure appointment, we kindly request that they reach out to us as soon as possible. Our clinic will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

5. Exceptions:

  1. In cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, our clinic may consider exceptions to the cancellation policy at our discretion. Such exceptions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Patients are encouraged to communicate with our clinic regarding their situation.
